Archiving CRM Contacts
Summary
Archiving CRM contacts allows you to sunset a contact from your CRM list and move them into a separate Archived tab. This keeps the contact in your account and they will still have access to sign into the Investor Portal. However, in doing this they will no longer have the ability to add additional profiles or invest directly in Open Offerings that are published to the Investor Portal. To archive a CRM contact, follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to CRM > Contacts > Active, and select the drop-down arrow next to a standard contact type (Individual, Entity, Joint Account, Self Directed IRA, and Trust).
*Please note: Internal entity contacts will not have the option to archive from the drop-down menu.
2. Select "Archive" from the pop-up message that appears:
3. The archived contact will move to the "Archived" tab, to the right of the "Active" tab. Here, you can see all of your archived contacts and execute all of the same CRM functions from the Active tab. If you ever need to unarchive an archived contact, simply select the drop-down arrow next to the contact and select "Unarchive Contact."
