Investing in a New Offering
Step by Step Instructions:
Upon logging into the investor portal, click the Open Offerings tab on the Dashboard and select the offering in which you are looking to place an investment.
Then, select the Invest Today button.
1. Select Investor Profile
Select the investor profile you would like to use for the investment and the investment class you would like to invest in. Please note that you may add a new profile at this step if needed. Check the box stating that you are an accredited investor, and once all fields have been filled in, click Next.
2. Enter Details
Select your accreditation method and then enter the amount you wish to invest and the payment method you will be using to fund your investment. Please note the minimum and maximum investment amounts set by your sponsor. Once all required fields have been entered, click the Next button that populates.
3. Confirm Acknowledgements
Check the acknowledgments and confirm that you acknowledge any documents that are listed as well before clicking next.
4. Sign Documents & Finish
Please check over the investment details before clicking Sign Documents.
Once you click Sign Documents, select Get Started in the upper right once you are ready to start signing.
From here, you may click the Next button in the upper right to find any other fields available and you will see how many required fields you have to complete on the upper left. There will be different types of fields to fill in, such as checkboxes, radio buttons, signature fields, text boxes, and fields that have already been filled in for you based on your profile and investment. (You will also have an option at the upper right when you hover over the 3 dot menu to close the signing process.)
Once you've completed all of the required fields, please click Continue at the upper right.
Next, select I agree on the message stating that this is legally binding.
Now, the signing process has been completed and the document will be sent to any applicable countersigners and/or secondary signers.
Once all signatures have been received, you may receive an investment confirmation email (depending on your Sponsor's settings) and the completed documents will be available on the investor website, under Documents > Documents.
Additional Notes:
Please note the option to Recreate Signing Document on the Sign Documents & Finish screen. This button will regenerate a new signing envelope to reflect the correct information of the investment if changes have been made prior to the completion of the signing process.
For example, if you reach this page and decide that you would like to change a detail of your investment, please navigate back to the previous steps and make any corrections necessary. Once you proceed to Step 4 again, please click Recreate Signing Document to refresh the document to reflect the changes. If no changes have been made to the investment details, the Sign Documents and Recreate Signing Document buttons will function the same.
