Product Release Notes (Q3 2024)
7.12.24 Release | Feature Enhancements
CRM
- On the Bank Accounts tab of the CRM profile, the ‘Default’ column is now right of the Bank Name column, so that it is more visible for team members to identify a contact’s default bank account and make changes if needed.
Investor Statements
- Negative values will now display as a single line item on Investor Statements. In the event that a distribution amount on the statement reaches the upper limit of 12 digits (or 18 characters when you include the negative sign, dollar sign, commas, and periods; e.g., -$1,000,000,000.00), then the system will wrap the distribution amount within the cell on the document.
Exports
- A Mapping IDs export is now available in the Exports library. Sponsors that are utilizing the Financial Suite integration can now review all investments and their associated Vendor and Customer IDs in the account with this export.
Import Data
- In Import Data, the ‘Investments’ and ‘Edit Investments’ tiles have been combined into one tile to be consistent with the other Bulk Import/Edit workflows.
Investor Portal
- Filter improvements have been made across the Transactions, Documents, and Uploads pages of the Investor Portal. These improvements include removing the borders around the filters, reducing the font size of the text in the filters, and reordering the position of the filters on the page.
Investor Settings
- On the General Settings page, there’s a new section titled ‘Investor Documents’ with a toggle for displaying documents with future published dates on the Investor Portal. This toggle is on by default but when toggled off, any documents with a published date after today’s date will not be displayed on the investor portal (i.e., if the published date is 07/20/2024 and today’s date is 07/12/2024, the document will not appear on the investor portal).
*Note: This only affects documents with a published date. If there is no published date, the document will always appear on the investor portal. - All metrics on the Investment Metrics page have been updated with descriptions. No change in how any of them are being calculated - just better defined now!
- The ‘Current Quarter Distributions’ metric has been renamed to ‘Distributions Last 90 Days.’ No changes have been made in how the metric is calculated, but a tooltip has been added to the metric when it’s displaying on the Offering Tile or Offering Page that states, “Displays the sum of distributions made in the 90-day period preceding the last distribution period end date.”
*Note: The metric name change has been applied to accounts that have not already overridden it by clicking the edit pencil to rename the metric; for accounts that have, the name will be updated automatically when a team member clicks the ‘Reset to Default’ option. - The logic for the 'Years Held' metric has been updated so that when an investor has multiple contributions in the same project, it displays the maximum number of years any single investment in that project has been held for. Prior to this change, it was displaying a sum of all 'Years Held' metrics across the multiple investments in a project.
- In the Investor Dashboard section of the Investor Portal Design page, there’s a new checkbox to display a metric inside the donut graphic on the Investor Portal Dashboard. When ‘Donut’ is selected from the Type dropdown, the checkbox will appear with a dropdown field to the right of it. From the dropdown, ‘Total Capital Invested’ or ‘Projects Invested’ can be selected as the metric to display inside the graphic (‘Total Capital Invested’ is the default selection for all accounts).
- The button colors on the Investor Portal Design page are now being pulled into all portal notifications and custom email campaigns.
8.09.24 Release | Feature Enhancements
Multiple Email Addresses:
- We’re excited to announce the release of our Multiple Email Addresses feature! A highly requested feature from IMS clients has been the ability to support multiple email addresses in the CRM. This allows Sponsors to not have to maintain a second set of email records outside of IMS, allows a secondary set email(s) available to attempt a resend from email bounces, and allows flexibility if there is a job change loss of a work email address that is associated to a contact. Sponsors will no longer need to sort through non-IMS records to find an alternate email or call the investor if this happens.
- With Multiple Email Addresses, sponsors and investors can now add up to 5 email addresses to a profile. One email address must be marked as the ‘primary’ to receive email communications from IMS, which can be easily updated as needed in the front-end of both Admin and the Investor Portal.
Project Statement Notes:
- Introducing Project Statement Notes! Sponsors now have the option to add project notes to investor statements. When creating or editing a project, on the Define tab there is a new ‘Add Statement Notes?’ toggle. This toggle is off by default but when toggled on, prompts the user with a text editor box to enter any messaging they want to add to statements for this project. As long as the statement is generated using a template that has the ‘Project Statement Notes’ field added to it, then the notes will automatically appear in-place of the field on the statement when previewed/published.
Project List:
- All of the columns in the Project List table are now sortable, so Team Members can now also sort the table by Total Capital, Total Distributions to Date, and Total Investors.
9.06.24 Release | Feature Enhancements
- In email campaigns, clicking on a contact’s name on the Select Recipients tab will now open the CRM aside.
- Team members now have the option to include pending investments in the Investment Summary notification email. Under My Profile > Notification Preferences, a checkbox labeled ‘Include Pending Investments’ has been added to the Investment Summary toggle - when checked, any applicable pending investments will be included in the table with accepted investments in the Investment Summary notification email that gets sent on the team member’s selected frequency.
