Copying eSignature Templates

Summary

IMS offers the ability to copy an eSignature template so that you can reuse a template without having to start from scratch. This can be useful in times when you have made a lot of adjustments to a template, but simply want to change a few things, and save it as a new template in the most efficient way.

Starting Out

First, Navigate to the Documents tab of IMS in the top left corner, and select eSignature Templates:

Second, find the eSignature template that you would like to duplicate. Select the drop-down arrow to the left of the eSignature Template name.

Choose Copy from this list:

Once you have selected Copy, it will populate a new template just above the selected template. This will be an exact duplicate of the original template that was created. IMS will append '- COPY' to the end of your original template name. From here, you can then edit the new template or old template as needed, without having to start from scratch.
