Upload Asset or Class Level Documents
There are two ways team members can add documents to all investors associated with a project, either directly in the project or under the documents feature.
Method 1:
You can upload an Asset or Class level document directly from the Projects feature. Select the project you would like to add a document to and then select the Documents tab within the project. The Upload Documents menu will appear - from here, you can upload single or multiple documents. Please be aware, documents uploaded at this level will go to all investors associated with the project.
Method 2:
Additionally, you can upload documents from the Documents feature. Click on Documents > Personal & Project Documents on the menu at the top of the screen. This view will show you auto-generated folders. The IMS System Documents section contains a folder called Projects, which will house all associated investor folders and documents. The Company documents (under your company name) will house all internal company documents (such as Waterfall-Audit files, broker, and property management information). The My Documents – [Name] folder is a location where the Team Member can load documents for their internal use or to coordinate with their CSM or other Team Members.
Click on the Projects Folder and navigate to the desired Project folder. The Documents section is structured like the project org chart in terms of the level at which you are located in. Click the entity name to go one level further, and again by clicking on the equity class name until you are viewing the desired class with the list of all investors within that class. Click Upload Document.
Drag and drop the desired document(s) or browse. Choose where you would like this file to be displayed on the Investor Dashboard. If you choose Investor Dashboard, choose the desired folder. If there is not a desired display folder that is listed, selecting "Other" will create an open textbox. This will allow you add a custom document display folder. Click Upload. Click Done.
You will see your newly added document(s) added to the list.

These documents will appear in the Documents tab for any investor associated with that Class. Here, they can download, view, or print their documents if needed. Please note the status of newly uploaded documents will be labeled as 'Unread' until the document has been downloaded.
