Delete Investments

Step by Step:

1. Navigate to the project, entity, and class that the investment is located in:

2. Locate the investment that you would like to delete and click on the drop-down arrow to the left of the investor’s name:

3. Choose Delete Investment from the dropdown menu:

4. From the confirmation pop-up message, select Delete to permanently delete the investment:

5. When the Cap Table refreshes, you will no longer see the investment:

For Investors With Multiple Contributions:

1. To delete one contribution, select the View Contributions icon. This looks like a stack of papers:

2. Find the contribution you would like to delete, select the drop-down arrow and select Delete Investment:

3. When the Cap Table refreshes, you will see one less contribution for that investor:

Conditions:

It’s important to note that the system prohibits you from deleting investments that are connected to other actions, such as distributions and/or partial transfers.

For example, if you try to delete an investment that's associated with distributions, the message will indicate that the investment cannot be deleted until all associated distributions are deleted. The message will also display the total number of associated distributions as well:
