Email Campaign Layouts
Summary
Email campaigns have two main layouts: Basic and Custom. Both layouts allow you to set up the basics, with the Custom layout providing more functionality and customization.
Basic Layout:
This is the system default layout for email campaigns. The main focus of the Basic layout is the main message body. Please note the option to select the toggle to send as private communication under the Delivery Rules section. Moving this toggle to the ON position excludes all contacts who are tied to the selected contact(s).
1. Selecting Next will take you to the Edit Email tab, where you can enter the following details: From Name, From Email Address, and Subject. You can Preview, Save as Draft, and Save as Template at any point in time. All drafts are stored under CRM > Email > Custom Drafts. All templates are stored under CRM > Email > Templates
2. Enter your message in the Content field. You can use the Insert Tag feature to add a specific tag to the body of your email. You also can update fonts and add embedded videos and images within the body of your email. In addition, you can edit the Team Member Email Signature and add up to 3 Attachments below.
3. Select Next when you are finished editing the Basic template to select the intended recipients for your email campaign. Select Back to go back to a previous tab.
Custom Layout
When chosen, the Custom template gives you the ability to add a Featured Image, top Call-to-Action, Message, and bottom Call-to-Action options. The Call-to-Actions will create custom links of your choosing that direct your investors to the intended location on the Investor Portal after a successful login. Please note the option to select the toggle to send as private communication under the Delivery Rules section. Moving this toggle to the ON position excludes all contacts who are tied to the selected contact(s).

2. Choose a Featured Image (that will span the body of the email's header). You can also choose a Call-to-Action at the top and/or the bottom of the email. You can choose where these custom links direct the investor after they log into the Portal. These options include: Activity Log, Dashboard, Documents, and Offerings (either a specific offering or your main offerings page). Enter your message in the Content field.
