eSignature On Demand
Summary
eSignature on Demand allows for the sending of electronic document signature requests without the need to place investments in IMS. This can be helpful for supplemental documents that require a signature (post-investment) or simply a one-off situation that does not have a direct affiliation with a particular deal or property.
Prerequisites
1. Fully coded eSignature template (click HERE for more details on preparing a template for signature)
Steps
1. From the Home tab, select the Documents tab, and choose eSignature On Demand from the drop-down menu:
2. Select Create Request to get started. Note the ability to search for specific keywords, sort table columns, increase the template display number per page, or cycle between your pages of templates.
3. Select an eSignature Template that was previously created (Documents > eSignature Templates). Give your document a Filename for when the investor clicks to download the file securely from the Investor Portal. Select the Document Type to correspond with the particular request you are sending. Please note: selecting a project name is optional, and once a project is selected, the entity within the project is required. Use the Segments Filter by option, if applicable, to go one step further and break down your targeted group. Select specific contacts, select and drag multiple contacts, or choose the Select all option to highlight the investors you wish to move into the sending queue.
4. Once you have your desired list of contacts in the sending queue, you have 3 options:
- Cancel: leave the request without saving
- Send: acknowledge the number of investors you are about to send the request to (see below)

Save to come back to the request at a later time.
When selecting to send the request, you can Cancel and save the request for later or select Continue to send the document request.
5. Once the request is sent, you will be taken to the eSignature On Demand summary page. Here, you can see high-level details from each request, along with the ability to Send (if saved previously), Edit, or Delete from the drop-down arrow:

Clicking into a previously sent eSignature on Demand request will show you the current document status of all investors, with the ability to Void Signing Documents, Delete Investor(s), or Download Signed Documents from the Bulk Actions menu. Please note the clock wheel on the far right side of the table if you need to see document status timestamps, resend the document, or download the document at any part of the process.
Testing
We recommend sending tests to all profile types to confirm the document performs to your expectations. This is also a good opportunity to see the default email template for the eSignature on Demand Request.
