Add a New Offering

Before you begin, you should have your entity and your project already built. If you need some guidance on doing this, there are some articles links that will guide you on how to do this, at the bottom of this article.

You should also have your eSignature template set up before setting up your offering, as you will need to select a template in order to continue with building your offering.

Add a New Offering - Step By Step Instructions

Step 1

Locate the project you are looking to build the offering for either through the project list, or global search.

Step 2

Select the entity within the project that you would like to add an offering for. You will then need to add a class within this entity, if you do not already have one. Once you've got your classes built, you will need to publish your class, in order for your offering to be live on the investor portal. To do this, navigate to the "Edit Classes" page by selecting the three dots in the top right corner of the page (within the Project > Entity), and toggle the "Publish" option to the left of the desired class.

Step 3

Additional sections of the page will populate once you have a class published. "Investment Details" will be the main area of focus when building an offering. The first option we will look at is "Accepting Investments." If this is toggled on, it will allow investors to invest right away through the portal. If it is turned off, it allows the option to add promotional text about this offering, and it will let the investor's know that it is an upcoming offering.

Step 4

All information in the rest of this section is optional, however, it is recommended to fill out the tile information, as this will allow investor's to find out more about the offering. You may add details here, to display to investors on the dashboard, whether accepting investments is toggled on, or not.

Step 5

Promotional Section will allow you to add promotional text about the offering to the offering in the investor portal, which is a great way to keep the investors enticed to invest. You may also add a graph to this section, showing investor's how far along you are at raising capital for this specific project.

Step 6

Investment Page Content is the section that is most important to adding the offering to the portal. Each offering will have to be tied to an asset. You should have your asset set up already, and you can add that in here. You will also be able to provide a title and body text to describe the offering. You have many options here as to what the text looks like such as font, color, or size.

Step 7

The Gallery section will display what images you have set up for the selected Asset. You can set these images up within the asset workflow, and they will pull over into your offering once that asset is selected. If you have multiple images tied to the asset, it will rotate through them on the investor portal, so that the investor's may see all of the images.

Step 8

The Asset Details section will allow you to add more information about the asset such as the year it was built, the address/location, so that investors can learn more about the asset itself. Adding this information is encouraged as it will be helpful for investor's when deciding to invest or not.

Step 9

Investor Signing Documents is where you will be able to select eSignature, and then add in your eSignature template. You will want to add the template here, and write a filename that will show to investors when viewing this document. Adding this will be required in order to proceed, if you are planning to use eSignature to have investors sign documents through the dashboard. You will then need to select a class to associate the document to, to the right of the selected template. Below this, you will then see a box to add Countersigners, if necessary.

Note: You may add multiple eSignature templates if needed!

Step 10

Finally, you will need to navigate back to the project list, find the project you are working on, and to the very right of the page, you will see a toggle icon that will allow you to publish the project. Doing this will actually publish the offering to the offerings page for investor's allowing them to see the information for the offering you have built.

Creating an Asset

Step 1

Hover over the "Projects" tab and select assets. From here, select "New Asset" from the top right corner of the page.

Step 2

Fill out any information you would like to add to the asset, including location, images, text, or metrics.

The "Header Image" will need to be the first image in the order. You may reorder these by dragging and dropping once they are uploaded.
If you would like to populate a map on your offering of where the property is, you will have to input the coordinates of the project on this page as well. If you do not know the coordinates, you may search the address on Google Maps to find them!
