Portal notifications can be found under the Investor Settings within IMS, and are a useful tool that allows you to add, edit, and customize notifications sent out to investors when triggered by system changes.
Click on your name at the top right corner of IMS, and select Investor Settings.
Once you have arrived in Investor Settings, click the Portal Notifications tab. Here, you will see a list of all available event notifications. Please Note the Recipient Type column, as this is a great way of finding out who the notification will be sent to. Click the edit button on the right to edit the notification content.
To edit the wording in a notification email, toggle the Customize email notification option to “On”. Feel free to change the wording or include tags with the “Insert Tag” option.
What are tags?
Tags are a way of adding placeholders to the notification, so that the information in the tag selected will auto fill within the email, so that you do not have to, for example, type out each individual investor's name for every notification that is sent out.
Once you have all desired changes and modifications, click Save.
If needed, there is a "Reset to Default" button at the bottom right of the page, which may prove useful, should you want to start over fresh, when editing portal notifications.
Note: Customizing the "Confirm Investment - Wire" Notification
When editing the portal notification for the "Confirm Investment - Wire" notification, you cannot remove the red box including wiring instructions, as this is a requirement when sending out this notification.
