Private Equity Raise (Legacy Investor Portal)
Step By Step Instructions
Step 1
Find the project you will be working in by selecting the "Projects" tab at the top left, and choose "Project List." From here, you can select the project that you would like to work on.
Step 2
Select the entity of the raise from the Project Summary page, and then select your class. Then click on the three dots in the top right corner of the page and select "Class Preferences."
Step 3
Scroll down on the page and select the "Is this a private class?" checkbox, to ensure that the class is set up for a private raise.
Step 4
You will see two boxes appear underneath the selected checkbox. On the Left, you can search for investors you would like to add to the private class. Once you have selected and found an investor you would like to add, click on the arrow pointing to the right, in between the two boxes, to move the investor into the private class.
Note: If an investor is in more than one class, for example, a private class, and a public class, they will see both on the dashboard. If you would prefer not to have this, either remove the investor from one of the classes, or simply unpublish the unnecessary class's offering.
Step 5
Lastly, select "Save" at the bottom right of the page, and publish the project on the Project Summary page. You may do this by selecting the "Publish" button at the top right of this page, after saving your class information.
